Donkey Update

You might have noticed that our donkey has recently received a coat of black paint in preparation for next week when we begin painting the handprints.

We will keep you updated on developments as they proceed over the next few weeks.  Look at our photographs in case you haven’t seen him/her painted black and see some of our artists’ designs showing her interpretation of  what the handprints will look like when the design is finished.

There will be 50 donkeys around Weston over the summer and they will be going up for auction to raise money for Children in Need at the end of the season.  We were delighted to hear recently, however, that since our donkeys have been purchased by Find Your Talent, s/he will be returning to us in September.

I think the donkey is great and artistic. We all know which hand is ours.

I love the donkey as it is very colourful. I think it will make a lot of people smile.
