During the last term the infant classes have looked at many different aspects of the seaside including beach safety, looking after our beach and how the sea front has changed over the years.
To celebrate all our hard work we slipped on our sandals, rolled up our trouser legs and with our sun hats firmly on we all headed off to the beach with our class buddies from Year 4.
When we arrived we coned off a large area and we all got to work. We were lucky enough to have a fun morning building lots of amazing sandcastles and some of us even managed to dig holes so deep we could stand in them! We all worked together to prove how effective team work can help us to create our own sand sculptures.
We had a fantastic day at the beach!
The beach was awesome. We built a massive sandcastle.
We worked together and helped each other. It was great fun.
